WaveLabAudio is using Fostex tweeter in the version of a 4-way WaveLabAudio A7 loudspeaker cabinet.

The best model for WaveLabAudio A7 loudspeaker would be a Fostex T925A, since the high sensitvity fits best to the other components (Vitavox S2 and Fostex T845 or T945N).
The Fostex T500A of the first series would also fit well due to the high sensitvity fits best with the other components (Vitavox S2 and Fostex T845 or T945N). But WaveLabAudio has never seen a T500A of the first series with the high rated sensitivity of 108 dB to confirm the high sensivity. If such a T500A is really available it would be rare tweeter. WaveLabAudio was only able to borrow and test out a T500A of the second series with a sensitivity of 102 dB.
WaveLabAudio finds the sound with the Fostex T500A or Fostex T500AMk2 viable, when a bit more roll-off in the high frequencies suits the customer taste.
